What do you see as one of your biggest challenges when working on projects using your notebook?
What are your some of the successes you've had using a notebook and collaborating on projects?
One of the biggest challenges while using the device is that things run very slowly when collaborating with others, especially on google powerpoint presentations. Other sites run slowly when many people are on it at once. The sites are good, however, because many people can work together at once, even from home.
One of the most particularly challenging parts of using the device is that it can run out of battery quickly. I find myself looking for an outlet rather often, which can sometime impede my use of the device. However, when the battery is fully charged, I have successfully completed multiple projects while collaborating with others using the device.
I think one of the biggest problems when using the computer, in school at least, is that the internet connection tends to get very, very slow when everybody is trying to use the same website at the same time. This makes it kind of frustrating when you're trying to create, say, Google Presentations, because everything takes twice as long as it should. However, personally, I have had several successes collaborating online with other students to create group projects and share notes, etc.
The biggest problem I have when I am working on projects is that either the computers run very slow or it is hard to print off the computers for the router tends to be set up wrong so the computer will not automatically connect to the printer therefore we have to set it up manually which is difficult. The successes are that you can work on the project at any time and with the aid of google drive you can chat with your partner even if they are not near by, so you can work together out of class.

However, typing essays or open responses with others on google drive has been very successful with very little lagging.

The biggest problem for me is usually the fact that my computer has decided it can only print to Mr. Heidl's room which obviously makes it useless for actually printing anything. It also slows the connection when everyone attempts to work on the same thing at once. I have created several good powerpoints and typed many papers using this computer, so that is probably the greatest success.

However these are easily overlooked because using this device for projects is greatly beneficial and it makes collaborating on projects much easier than if i did not have it.
I forgot to add, the notebook cannot access my home printer or internet for some reason. So I'm virtually only able to utilize the notebook from school.
